Blox Fruits Light Fruit Move Mastery Levels

Card No. 06·23865 · Updated · Standard formula, shown below

In Blox Fruits, the Light Fruit (Pika Pika no Mi) has a total of 10 moves, and each one unlocks at a specific mastery level, starting at Mastery 1 and ending at Mastery 400. You level up mastery by dealing damage to enemies with the fruit’s moves; the amount of mastery gained depends on the enemy’s level relative to yours and whether you land the final hit. This guide breaks down every Light Fruit move, its unlock level, and the fastest ways to grind mastery.

Light Fruit Move List and Unlock Levels

Here is the complete Light Fruit moveset with the exact mastery requirement for each move. Mastery is earned per-fruit, so these levels apply only while Light is equipped.

  • Light Beam – Mastery 1: A quick, single-beam projectile. Your basic spammable attack.
  • Light Rush – Mastery 20: A short-range dash that hits enemies as you pass through them. Useful for closing distance or escaping.
  • Light Blade – Mastery 40: A sword-like slash of light that travels forward. Good for mid-range damage.
  • Light Barrage – Mastery 60: Fires a rapid stream of light projectiles. Excellent for DPS and building combo hits.
  • Light Kick – Mastery 80: A powerful kick that launches enemies. Works well as a combo starter or finisher.
  • Light Cloak – Mastery 100: A defensive buff that increases your speed and makes you intangible for a few seconds. Great for dodging and repositioning.
  • Light Explosion – Mastery 150: An area-of-effect burst around your character. Deals solid damage to multiple enemies at once.
  • Light Speed – Mastery 200: A high-speed travel move that lets you zoom in any direction. Also damages enemies you pass through.
  • Light Ray – Mastery 300: A long-range, piercing beam of light. One of your strongest single-target attacks.
  • Light God – Mastery 400: A massive, screen-wide explosion that deals huge damage. Your ultimate move with a long cooldown.

Note that the exact damage numbers and cooldowns have changed across updates, but the unlock levels above have remained consistent in recent versions.

How Mastery Works in Blox Fruits

Mastery is a per-fruit leveling system separate from your character’s level. You gain mastery points by using that fruit’s moves to damage enemies. The key factors that affect how much mastery you earn are:

  • Enemy level relative to yours: Fighting enemies within 10 levels of your own gives the most mastery. Enemies much lower than you give almost nothing.
  • Landing the final hit: You get a significant bonus for killing an enemy with a fruit move.
  • Move usage: Simply hitting an enemy with a move grants a small amount of mastery; kills grant more.

Mastery is not shared with other fruits. If you switch to a different fruit, you start that fruit’s mastery from zero (unless you use a Mastery Scroll, which instantly gives you 100 mastery on the current fruit).

Fastest Ways to Level Light Fruit Mastery

To reach Mastery 400 efficiently, you need to fight enemies that are close to your level and use Light moves to finish them off. Here are the most effective methods:

  1. Farm NPCs at your level: Find the area with enemies around your current level. Use Light Beam and Light Barrage to weaken them, then finish with Light Kick or Light Explosion to secure the kill bonus.
  2. Use the Third Sea’s Best Grinding Spots: If you’re in the Third Sea, areas like the Haunted Castle (level 1900+) and the Ice Castle (level 2000+) are popular for mastery grinding because the enemies are dense and respawn quickly.
  3. Equip a Mastery Boost: If you have a 2x Mastery gamepass (purchasable with Robux), it doubles all mastery gains. This is the single fastest way to speed up the process.
  4. Use Light God on large groups: Once you unlock Light God at Mastery 400, it can wipe out entire groups of enemies, giving you massive mastery per use. But you still need to get to 400 first, so use it only after you’ve unlocked it.
  5. Switch to a melee weapon for the last hit? No: The kill must be from a fruit move to gain the fruit mastery bonus. If you kill with a sword or gun, you get no fruit mastery for that kill.

Common Mistakes When Grinding Mastery

Many players slow down their mastery gain without realizing it. Avoid these pitfalls:

  • Fighting enemies too far below your level: You’ll get almost no mastery, even if you kill hundreds. Always check the enemy’s level and your own.
  • Using other weapons to kill: If you use a sword or gun to finish an enemy, you forfeit the fruit mastery bonus. Make sure the final hit is a Light move.
  • Not using the right moves: Light Beam and Light Barrage are your best tools for landing hits quickly. Light God has a long cooldown, so don’t rely on it for farming until you have other moves to fill the gap.
  • Ignoring the 2x Mastery gamepass: If you’re serious about maxing out Light, the gamepass is worth the Robux. Without it, expect the grind to take 2-3 times longer.

Light Fruit vs. Other Fruits for Mastery Grinding

Light is often considered one of the best fruits for grinding mastery because of its speed and low cooldowns. Compared to other popular grinding fruits:

  • vs. Dark Fruit: Dark has higher damage but slower projectiles and longer cooldowns. Light is better for fast, continuous damage.
  • vs. Ice Fruit: Ice has good area denial but lower single-target damage. Light’s Light Beam is more spammable.
  • vs. Rumble: Rumble has strong AoE and stuns, but its moves have longer wind-up. Light is more straightforward and easier to aim.

If your goal is purely to level mastery, Light is a top-tier choice because you can constantly be dealing damage without waiting for cooldowns.

Costs and Requirements to Get Light Fruit

Light Fruit is not free. You can obtain it in several ways:

  • Purchase from the Blox Fruit Dealer: The price varies depending on the server’s stock. It typically costs between 650,000 and 1,000,000 Beli, or 1,650 to 2,300 Robux if bought with Robux.
  • Randomly from the fruit spawn: Light has a chance to spawn in any of the fruit spawn locations across the map. The spawn rate is low, but it’s free if you find it.
  • Trade with other players: You can trade for Light Fruit, but the price depends on the current trading meta.

Remember that you need to be at least level 700 to use the Light Fruit effectively in the Second Sea, but you can equip it at any level. The moves will be less effective against higher-level enemies if you’re underleveled.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the best move to spam for mastery? Light Beam is the best for spamming because it has a very short cooldown and is easy to aim. Use it constantly while moving around enemies.

Can I level mastery by hitting players in PvP? Yes, you gain a small amount of mastery for hitting other players with fruit moves, but it’s much less than PvE grinding. The final-hit bonus also applies in PvP, but it’s not efficient.

Does the 2x Mastery gamepass stack with other boosts? Yes, the 2x Mastery gamepass stacks with any temporary mastery boosts from events or codes. This can lead to 4x or even 8x mastery gains.

How long does it take to get Light Fruit to Mastery 400? It depends on your level and whether you have the 2x Mastery gamepass. Without the gamepass, expect 10-20 hours of focused grinding. With it, you can cut that to 5-10 hours.

Is Light Fruit worth using for raids? Yes, Light is very good in raids because of its mobility and AoE damage. Light God can clear entire waves, and Light Cloak helps you survive.

Can I reset my mastery if I make a mistake? No, there is no way to reset mastery on a fruit. You can only start a new fruit from zero. However, you can use a Mastery Scroll to instantly set a fruit’s mastery to 100, but that only helps if you’re starting a new fruit.
