Blue Lock Rivals Wednesday? Matchup Explained

No, Blue Lock Rivals and Wednesday are not directly related—one is a Roblox game based on the anime Blue Lock, and the other is a Netflix series about Wednesday Addams. The confusion comes from fans asking if a character or event from Wednesday could appear in Blue Lock Rivals, or if the two share a crossover. This article explains what each is, why the question comes up, and what you need to know if you’re looking for a connection.

Why Do People Ask This?

The question likely comes from two directions. First, Blue Lock Rivals is a popular Roblox game where players compete in soccer matches, and some fans create custom characters or skins inspired by other media. Second, Wednesday is a supernatural teen drama, and its main character is known for fencing, not soccer. Some fans might wonder if a character like Wednesday could be added as a playable character, or if there is a hidden crossover event. As of now, there is no official crossover between the two franchises.

What Is Blue Lock Rivals?

Blue Lock Rivals is a Roblox game inspired by the anime and manga Blue Lock, which is about a training program to create the world’s greatest striker. In the game, players join teams, select characters with different abilities, and play soccer matches against others. The game features a ranking system, skills, and a competitive environment that mirrors the anime’s tension. It is not affiliated with the official Blue Lock franchise, but it uses the concept and characters in a fan-made format.

What Is Wednesday?

Wednesday is a Netflix series centered on Wednesday Addams, the daughter of Gomez and Morticia Addams. The show follows her as she attends Nevermore Academy, a school for outcasts, and solves a supernatural mystery. Wednesday is known for her deadpan humor, fencing skills, and a pet spider named Thing. The series is a spin-off of The Addams Family and has no connection to soccer or Blue Lock.

How to Choose Which to Explore

If you’re asking because you want to know which one to watch or play, it depends on your interest:

If you enjoy competitive sports anime and fast-paced multiplayer games, try Blue Lock Rivals on Roblox.
If you prefer dark comedy, mystery, and supernatural drama, watch Wednesday on Netflix.
If you’re looking for a crossover, there isn’t one—so you’ll have to enjoy them separately.

Common Problems and Misconceptions

One common misconception is that Blue Lock Rivals is an official game. It is not—it’s a fan-made Roblox experience. Another is that Wednesday has a soccer episode or character that connects to Blue Lock. That is false. The only similarity is that both have strong, determined protagonists who face challenges, but that’s where the comparison ends.

Comparisons: Blue Lock vs. Wednesday

If you’re comparing the two, here’s a quick breakdown:

Genre: Blue Lock is a sports anime; Wednesday is a supernatural comedy-drama.

Goal: Become the world’s best striker vs. solve a murder mystery.

Costs and Availability

Blue Lock Rivals is free to play on Roblox, though it has in-game purchases for cosmetics and boosts. Wednesday requires a Netflix subscription. Neither has a crossover event, and there is no cost to search for one—it just doesn’t exist.

Safety and Accuracy

When searching online, be cautious of fan-made videos or articles claiming a crossover. They are often clickbait. Always check official sources: the Roblox game page and Netflix’s official announcements. If you use hours or miles, convert first.
