This article lists the main story bosses in Final Fantasy: Resonance of Fate (known as End of Eternity in Japan), in the order you encounter them. You fight these enemies during the game’s main chapters, and each has a distinct gimmick, so knowing what to expect helps you prepare your loadout and items.
Formula
The calculator above works out your average pace and speed from a finish time and distance. The formulas are:
- Average pace (min/km) = Finish time (minutes) ÷ Distance (km)
- Average speed (km/h) = Distance (km) ÷ (Finish time (minutes) ÷ 60)
Variables: t = finish time in minutes, d = distance in kilometers. Pace is expressed as minutes per kilometer, speed as kilometers per hour.
Worked Example
Using the defaults: t = 50 minutes, d = 10 km.
- Pace = 50 ÷ 10 = 5.00 min/km
- Speed = 10 ÷ (50 ÷ 60) = 10 ÷ 0.8333 = 12.00 km/h
So the calculator returns 5.00 min/km and 12.00 km/h.
When to Use This Calculator
Use this tool when you finish a run, a walk, or a bike ride and want to know your average pace or speed. It’s handy for training plans, race pacing, or just tracking your progress. You can enter any distance and time, as long as the time is in minutes and the distance in kilometers. If you work in miles, convert distance to kilometers (1 mile ≈ 1.609 km) before entering it.
How to Read the Result
The first output, pace, is the number of minutes it takes you to cover one kilometer. A lower pace means you are faster. The second output, speed, is how many kilometers you cover in one hour. These two numbers are inversely related: a faster pace (smaller number) corresponds to a higher speed. For example, 5 min/km equals 12 km/h, while 6 min/km equals 10 km/h.
Common Mistakes
- Mixing units: Entering time in hours instead of minutes will give a pace that is 60 times too small. Always convert hours to minutes.
- Forgetting distance units: If you enter miles as kilometers, your pace will look faster than reality. Convert miles to kilometers first.
- Rounding too early: If you round the speed to 12.0 and then try to compute pace from that rounded number, you’ll get a slightly different result. Let the calculator do the rounding at the end.
Limitations of the Formula
This is a simple average calculation. It does not account for hills, stops, or changes in effort. Your actual pace during a run will vary, but the average gives a useful overall measure. Also, the formula assumes a constant speed, which is rarely true in practice, but it’s a standard way to compare workouts.
Frequently Asked Questions
How do I convert my pace from min/km to min/mile?
Multiply the min/km pace by 1.609 to get min/mile. For example, 5 min/km × 1.609 = 8.045 min/mile, which is about 8:03 per mile.
What is a good running pace for a beginner?
There is no single answer because it depends on age, fitness, and gender. A common starting point is around 6 to 7 min/km for a comfortable jog. If you can hold a conversation while running, your pace is appropriate for you.
Can I use this for walking or cycling?
Yes, the formula works for any activity where you cover a distance over time. Just enter the total time and distance for walking, cycling, swimming, or any other movement.
Why does the calculator show “Cannot compute” for some inputs?
That happens when the finish time or distance is negative, which is impossible. The calculator is set to reject negative values because you cannot run a negative distance or finish in negative time.
How do I convert my speed from km/h to min/km?
Take 60 and divide by your speed in km/h. For example, 12 km/h → 60 ÷ 12 = 5 min/km. If your speed is 10 km/h, then 60 ÷ 10 = 6 min/km.
