Haze Seas Fruit Awakening Requirements & Boss Materials

Card No. 06·6596 · Updated · Standard formula, shown below

The calculator on this card is switched off while it is checked. The formula is below, and the worked example shows how to do the sum by hand.

To awaken a Haze Seas Fruit in Blox Fruits, you need 3 Haze Seas Fruit Fragments, 1 Haze Seas Fruit, and 5,000,000 in-game dollars, then talk to the Mysterious Scientist on the Frozen Island. The boss materials come from defeating the Haze Sea Boss, which spawns every 30 minutes at the Haze Sea Castle. This article explains the exact requirements, how to farm the materials, and answers common questions about the process.

Formula

The calculator shows how many more boss defeats you need based on your current fragments. The formula is:

Defeats needed = ceil((3 – fragments_owned) / drops_per_defeat)

Where:

  • fragments_owned = number of Haze Seas Fruit Fragments you already have (integer, 0 or more)
  • drops_per_defeat = average number of fragments the boss drops per defeat (usually 3, but can vary)
  • ceil() = round up to the nearest whole number, since you can’t do half a boss fight

The “ready” output shows 1 if you have at least 3 fragments, meaning you can awaken the fruit (assuming you also have the fruit and money).

Worked Example

Using the default values: you have 0 fragments, the boss drops 3 per defeat, and you have $5,000,000.

  1. Fragments still needed = max(0, 3 – 0) = 3
  2. Defeats needed = ceil(3 / 3) = 1
  3. Ready = (0 >= 3) + 0 * sqrt(3) = 0 (not ready yet)

So with 0 fragments, you need 1 boss defeat to get 3 fragments, and then you can awaken the fruit (provided you have the fruit and money).

What is the Haze Seas Fruit?

The Haze Seas Fruit is a mythical-tier fruit in Blox Fruits, introduced in the Update 24 (Haze Seas) expansion. It is a Logia-type fruit, meaning the user can transform into a dark mist, becoming immune to most physical attacks. Its moves include:

  • Haze Dash – a quick teleport that leaves a trail of mist
  • Mist Burst – a radial explosion of dark energy
  • Shadow Claw – a powerful melee strike with shadowy claws
  • Haze Realm – a large area-of-effect that damages and blinds enemies

It is considered one of the strongest fruits for both PvP and PvE due to its high damage and mobility. Awakening it significantly boosts its power, adding new moves and increasing damage.

Awakening Requirements – Step by Step

To awaken the Haze Seas Fruit, you must meet all three of these conditions:

  1. Own the Haze Seas Fruit – You must have the fruit in your inventory (it can be obtained from the Haze Sea Castle chest, or by trading).
  2. Collect 3 Haze Seas Fruit Fragments – These drop from the Haze Sea Boss, located at the Haze Sea Castle. The boss respawns every 30 minutes.
  3. Have 5,000,000 dollars – The awakening costs 5 million in-game dollars.

Once you have all three, go to the Mysterious Scientist on the Frozen Island (the same NPC used for other fruit awakenings). Interact with him, select the Haze Seas Fruit, and confirm the awakening.

Boss Materials – Haze Sea Boss Drops

The Haze Sea Boss is a level 2000 boss that spawns at the Haze Sea Castle (the large floating structure in the Haze Sea). It has a 30-minute respawn timer. When defeated, it drops:

  • Haze Seas Fruit Fragments (usually 3, but can vary with luck)
  • Haze Seas Fruit (rare drop, about 5% chance)
  • Random weapons and accessories (common drops)

The fragments are the primary material needed for awakening. You can also get fragments from the Haze Sea Castle chest that spawns near the boss, but it only gives 1 fragment per chest.

How to Farm Haze Seas Fruit Fragments

Farming the Haze Sea Boss is the most reliable way to get fragments. Here are effective strategies:

  • Server hopping – Since the boss respawns every 30 minutes, switch servers to find one where the boss is alive. This can be done quickly by using the server browser.
  • Use a fast fruit – Fruits like Light, Dark, or Venom allow you to move quickly and dodge the boss’s attacks, making the fight easier.
  • Bring a friend – The boss has high HP, so teaming up with other players can speed up the kill. The boss drops are shared, but you can each get fragments.
  • Check the chest – After defeating the boss, a chest appears near the spawn point. It contains 1 fragment, so always grab it.

On average, you’ll need to defeat the boss 1-2 times to get 3 fragments, but it can take more if you get unlucky with drops.

Common Mistakes and Misconceptions

Many players make these errors when trying to awaken the Haze Seas Fruit:

  • Thinking you need 5 fragments – Some players confuse this with other fruits that require 5. The Haze Seas Fruit only needs 3.
  • Not having the fruit in inventory – You must have the actual fruit, not just the fragments. The fragments are used as a currency, not as a replacement for the fruit.
  • Going to the wrong NPC – The Mysterious Scientist is on the Frozen Island, not at the Haze Sea Castle. Make sure you talk to the correct NPC.
  • Forgetting the money – The 5 million dollar cost is often overlooked. Check your balance before going to the scientist.

Is It Worth Awakening?

Awakening the Haze Seas Fruit is generally worth it if you plan to use the fruit long-term. The awakened version adds two new moves and increases the damage of all existing moves by roughly 30%. It also changes the visual effects to a darker, more intense mist. However, the awakening does not change the fruit’s elemental typing or its base stats. If you are only using the fruit for grinding, you might wait until you have spare fragments, but for PvP, the awakening is a significant power boost.

Frequently Asked Questions

How many Haze Seas Fruit Fragments do I need?

You need exactly 3 Haze Seas Fruit Fragments to awaken the fruit. This is confirmed by the Mysterious Scientist’s interface. You cannot use more or less.

Where do I get Haze Seas Fruit Fragments?

Fragments drop from the Haze Sea Boss, which spawns at the Haze Sea Castle every 30 minutes. You can also get 1 fragment from the chest that appears after the boss is defeated. The boss drops 3 fragments on average, but it can be more or less.

Can I trade Haze Seas Fruit Fragments?

No, Haze Seas Fruit Fragments are not tradable. They are bound to your account once picked up. You can only obtain them by defeating the boss or opening the chest.

What level do I need to fight the Haze Sea Boss?

The Haze Sea Boss is level 2000, so you should be at least level 2000 to fight it solo. If you are lower level, you can still join a group, but you will deal less damage and may struggle to survive.

Can I awaken the fruit without the boss?

No, the only way to get fragments is from the Haze Sea Boss or the chest. There is no other source. You must defeat the boss at least once to get enough fragments.
