Gilgamesh V2 in Sailor Piece: Unlock Guide

Card No. 06·4369 · Updated · Standard formula, shown below

This guide walks you through unlocking Gilgamesh V2 in the Roblox game Sailor Piece. You will learn the exact steps to obtain this powerful fighting style, what items you need, and how to avoid common mistakes that waste your time.

What You’ll Need

  • At least Level 200 (recommended) to survive the required boss fight.
  • 1,000,000 Beli (in-game currency) for the final purchase.
  • Access to the Second Sea (complete the first sea’s main storyline).
  • Basic combat gear – a decent sword or fighting style you are comfortable with.
  • Food or healing items for the boss fight.

Step-by-Step

  1. Reach the Second Sea. If you haven’t already, defeat the final boss of the First Sea and talk to the NPC that teleports you to the Second Sea. This is a prerequisite – Gilgamesh V2 is only available there.
  2. Travel to the Desert Island. In the Second Sea, open your map and locate the Desert Island (usually in the southeast). Set sail and dock there.
  3. Find the Hidden Cave. On the Desert Island, look for a rock formation on the eastern side of the island. There is a small opening you can walk through – it’s easy to miss because it’s partially hidden by a cactus. Walk inside to find the cave.
  4. Talk to the NPC ‘Ancient Spirit’. Inside the cave, you’ll find a glowing NPC named “Ancient Spirit.” Interact with it. It will tell you that you need to prove your strength by defeating the ‘Sand Golem’ boss.
  5. Locate the Sand Golem. Exit the cave and head to the center of the Desert Island. The Sand Golem spawns there, but only if you have spoken to the Ancient Spirit first. If it’s not there, wait a few minutes – it has a respawn timer.
  6. Defeat the Sand Golem. This boss is around Level 300, so come prepared. Use your best moves, dodge its sand attacks, and heal when needed. It drops a ‘Sand Core’ item – make sure you pick it up.
  7. Return to the Ancient Spirit. Go back into the cave and talk to the Ancient Spirit again. It will acknowledge your victory and offer you the Gilgamesh V2 fighting style.
  8. Pay the 1,000,000 Beli. The final step is to pay the 1,000,000 Beli. Confirm the purchase, and you’ll immediately learn Gilgamesh V2.
  9. Equip and test it. Open your inventory and equip Gilgamesh V2 from your fighting styles tab. Try out the moves on a nearby training dummy or weak NPC to get a feel for the combos.

Common Mistakes

  • Not talking to the Ancient Spirit first. If you go straight to the Sand Golem without speaking to the NPC, it won’t drop the Sand Core. You’ll waste time waiting for a respawn.
  • Going to the wrong island. The Desert Island is not the same as the Sand Island in the First Sea. Make sure you are in the Second Sea.
  • Missing the Sand Core drop. The Sand Golem’s drop is not guaranteed to appear right under you – it can fall to the side. Always check the ground thoroughly after the fight.
  • Not having enough Beli. You might think you have enough, but the game’s currency display can be confusing. Double-check your Beli count before talking to the Ancient Spirit.
  • Assuming V1 is required. You do NOT need to have the original Gilgamesh fighting style to get V2. They are separate unlocks.

Tips

  • Bring a friend. The Sand Golem is tough for solo players. Having a friend can make the fight much easier, but note that only the player who deals the final blow gets the Sand Core – so coordinate.
  • Use a water-based fighting style. The Sand Golem takes extra damage from water-based moves, so if you have any, use them.
  • Farm Beli before you go. Don’t try to farm Beli on the Desert Island – it’s inefficient. Earn Beli in the First Sea or through other methods before heading to the Second Sea.
  • Save your best moves for the second phase. The Sand Golem gets faster when its health is low. Save your ultimate ability for that moment.

Troubleshooting

  • The Sand Golem isn’t spawning. Make sure you’ve talked to the Ancient Spirit first. If you have, wait 5-10 minutes – it has a respawn timer. If it still doesn’t appear, rejoin the server.
  • I defeated the Sand Golem but no Sand Core dropped. This can happen if you didn’t talk to the Ancient Spirit before the fight. If you did talk to it, the drop might have fallen under the sand – search the area. If it’s truly missing, you’ll need to defeat the boss again.
  • The Ancient Spirit won’t let me buy Gilgamesh V2. Check your Beli count – you need exactly 1,000,000. Also, make sure you have the Sand Core in your inventory. If you’ve done both, try restarting the game.
  • I have the Sand Core but the NPC says I haven’t proven myself. This is a known glitch. Try dropping the Sand Core and picking it up again, then talk to the NPC. If that fails, rejoin the server.
  • I can’t find the cave entrance. Look for a small dark opening on the eastern side of the island, near a large rock. It’s not marked on the map. Walk around the rock face until you see a prompt to enter.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need to have Gilgamesh V1 to get V2?

No, you do not. Gilgamesh V2 is a separate unlock. You only need to complete the steps above.

What level should I be to fight the Sand Golem?

The Sand Golem is around Level 300, so being at least Level 250 is recommended. If you’re lower, bring a friend or use healing items.

Can I buy Gilgamesh V2 with Robux instead of Beli?

No, the only way to get it is by paying 1,000,000 Beli after defeating the Sand Golem. There is no Robux shortcut.

Is Gilgamesh V2 better than V1?

Yes, V2 has higher damage output and a better moveset. It’s considered one of the best fighting styles in the game.

Can I trade the Sand Core?

No, the Sand Core is a non-tradeable item. You must obtain it yourself.

What if the Sand Golem kills me?

You can respawn and go back to the boss. The Sand Golem will still be there, but you’ll need to deal the final blow to get the drop.
