Pixel Blade events run on a rotating weekly and monthly schedule, with the main recurring events being Guild War (Tuesday/Thursday/Saturday), Arena (daily), and special limited-time events that typically last 7–14 days. This guide explains the current event cycle, how to prepare for each event, and answers common questions about timing and rewards.
Formula
The calculator above estimates total event points you can earn during a limited-time event. The formula is:
Total Points = Event Duration (days) × Daily Reward Points
Where:
- Event Duration – the number of days the event runs (typically 7, 14, or 21).
- Daily Reward Points – the points you earn each day from completing daily quests, battles, or log-in bonuses.
This is a simple multiplication, but it helps you plan how many points you need to reach the final reward tier before the event ends.
Worked Example
Using the default values: a 7-day event with 100 daily points.
- Total = 7 × 100 = 700 points
So you would earn 700 points if you collect every daily reward. If the final reward requires 1,000 points, you know you need to either extend your play time or find bonus point sources.
Weekly Event Rotation
Pixel Blade follows a predictable weekly cycle that resets every Monday at 00:00 UTC. Here is the standard rotation:
- Monday – Guild War registration opens; daily dungeon resets.
- Tuesday – Guild War first battle round; Arena bonus points active.
- Wednesday – Tower of Trials opens (24-hour event).
- Thursday – Guild War second battle round; special raid boss appears.
- Friday – Weekend login bonus starts; double gold dungeon.
- Saturday – Guild War final battle; Arena season points doubled.
- Sunday – Weekly ranking rewards distributed at 23:59 UTC.
These times are based on the global server. If you play on a regional server, check the in-game clock, as some events may shift by a few hours.
Monthly and Seasonal Events
Beyond the weekly cycle, Pixel Blade runs larger events that last longer and offer exclusive heroes, skins, or equipment. These typically align with real-world holidays or game anniversaries:
- Anniversary Event – usually in March, lasting 21 days, with a special summon banner and login rewards.
- Summer Festival – July–August, 14-day event with beach-themed skins and a fishing mini-game.
- Halloween Event – late October, 10 days, with a haunted dungeon and limited-time ghost pets.
- Winter Holiday – December, 14 days, with a snowman boss and gift exchange.
These events are announced about a week in advance via the in-game mail and official social media channels. The exact start dates vary each year, so check the announcement board.
How to Check the Current Schedule
The most reliable way to see what is happening is the in-game Event Calendar, found on the main lobby screen. It shows:
- Today’s active events with countdown timers.
- Upcoming events for the next 7 days.
- Reward previews and required points.
You can also tap the Bell icon to set reminders for specific events. If you miss an event, there is no way to replay it, but most events return the following year with the same or similar rewards.
Preparing for Events
To maximize your event rewards, follow these steps before a major event starts:
- Save currency – do not spend gems or event tokens in the week before a big event, as they are often needed for limited-time summons.
- Stock energy potions – events that require grinding dungeons will consume a lot of energy; save potions from daily logins.
- Check the reward list – decide which reward tier you want and calculate how many points you need per day using the calculator above.
- Join an active guild – Guild War rewards are much better for guilds that win, and a good guild also shares event tips.
Common Problems and Mistakes
Players often misjudge event timing or miss rewards. Here are the most frequent issues:
- Assuming events start at midnight local time – they start at 00:00 UTC, which may be late evening or early morning depending on your time zone.
- Not collecting daily rewards before reset – if you log in after 00:00 UTC, the previous day’s rewards are gone.
- Spending event points too early – some events have a bonus shop that opens in the second week; wait before spending.
- Ignoring the “pre-registration phase – for guild wars, you must register 24 hours before the first battle, or you cannot participate.
Comparing Event Types
Not all events are equal in terms of time investment vs. rewards:
- Log-in events – low effort, just open the game daily; rewards are modest but free.
- Grind events – require hours of dungeon runs; rewards include rare upgrade materials.
- PvP events – competitive, but you need a strong team; rewards include exclusive skins and titles.
- Co-op events – team up with friends; rewards are balanced and often include guild currency.
If you have limited time, prioritize log-in and co-op events over grind events, as they give better rewards per minute.
Costs and Free-to-Play Options
All events are completable without spending real money, but some rewards are locked behind a premium track. The free track usually gives 60–70% of the total rewards, while the premium track (bought with gems or real money) adds exclusive skins and extra summons. If you are free-to-play, focus on the free track and save gems for the next event’s premium track if you really want the exclusive reward.
Frequently Asked Questions
What time do events reset? Events reset at 00:00 UTC every day. In the US, that is 7:00 PM EST or 4:00 PM PST depending on daylight saving. In Europe it is 1:00 AM or 2:00 AM CET.
Can I participate in an event if I join mid-way? Yes, most events allow you to join at any time during their duration, but you will miss the earlier daily rewards. You can still earn points from the remaining days.
Do event rewards carry over to the next event? No, event points and tokens are reset when the event ends. Unused tokens are usually converted to gold at a low rate, so spend them before the event closes.
How do I know when a limited-time event is coming? The game sends a mail notification 3–7 days before a major event. You can also follow the official social media accounts, which post teasers.
Is there a way to get extra event points without paying? Yes, most events offer bonus points for watching ads, completing daily quests, or inviting friends. These are limited but can add up to 20–30% more points.
What happens if I miss a Guild War battle? You will receive zero points for that battle, and your guild may lose. You cannot make up missed battles, but you can still participate in the next round if the war is not over.
