Resonance Plague Tale Legacy Chapter 10 Collectibles

Card No. 06·37937 · Updated · Standard formula, shown below

In A Plague Tale: Resonance, Chapter 10 (Parallel Paths) contains 5 collectibles: 3 Flowers, 1 Souvenir, and 1 Secret. This guide lists each one in the order you can find them during a single playthrough, with location descriptions that match the game’s level design.

Chapter 10 Overview: Parallel Paths

Chapter 10 is the second-to-last chapter of the game, set in a coastal fortress under siege. The level is linear but has several side rooms and optional paths that hide collectibles. You play as Amicia, and Hugo is with you for most of the chapter. The collectibles are spread across three main areas: the cliff approach, the fortress courtyard, and the inner keep. Missing one means replaying the whole chapter, so use this guide as you go.

Collectible 1: Flower – On the Cliff Edge

As the chapter opens, you and Hugo climb a narrow cliff path above the sea. After the first scripted rat swarm sequence, you’ll reach a small ledge with a broken cart. Instead of continuing forward, look to your left. There is a small gap between two rocks – squeeze through it. The flower is on a grassy patch at the end of this short detour, just before the path turns right toward the fortress gate. It is easy to miss because the camera angle pushes you forward, so actively turn left after the cart.

Collectible 2: Souvenir – In the Guard Tower

After entering the fortress courtyard, you’ll need to clear a group of guards. Once the area is safe, head to the northeast corner where a wooden guard tower stands. Climb the ladder to the top platform. The souvenir (a small carved wooden bird) sits on a crate near the edge. If you’ve already triggered the next objective, the tower may be locked, so grab it before moving through the large gate on the west side. This is the only souvenir in the chapter.

Collectible 3: Flower – In the Cistern

Later, you’ll descend into a cistern to find a way through the fortress walls. After solving the water puzzle that raises a platform, you’ll cross to the far side. Before climbing the ladder that leads out, look behind a pillar on your right. The flower is tucked behind a broken barrel, partially hidden by shadow. Use your focus ability (if available) to highlight it – the glow will help you spot it. This is the most commonly missed flower because players rush to the ladder.

Collectible 4: Secret – In the Armory

After the cistern, you’ll emerge in a storage hall. The secret is not a physical item but a hidden dialogue scene. To trigger it, you must find a locked room on the upper level of the hall. The door is barred, but you can open it by pulling a chain behind a stack of crates on the lower level. Inside, you’ll find a note and an optional conversation between Amicia and Hugo. The game counts this as a secret collectible. If you miss the chain, the door stays locked and the secret is lost for that playthrough.

Collectible 5: Flower – In the Inner Keep

The final flower is in the inner keep, just before the chapter’s boss fight. After a cutscene where the fortress commander appears, you’ll enter a large hall with a broken roof. The flower is on a balcony to your left, reachable by climbing a collapsed pillar. You must do this before triggering the boss encounter – once the fight starts, the area becomes inaccessible. The flower is on a small table next to a candle. This is the last collectible in the chapter, and after the boss, the chapter ends.

Tips for Finding All Collectibles

To make sure you don’t miss anything, follow these practical tips:

  • Play on the easiest difficulty if you’re focused on collecting – fewer enemies means less pressure to rush.
  • Use the in-game chapter select after finishing the game to replay Chapter 10 and pick up any missed items.
  • Listen for the audio cue – a soft chime plays when you’re near a collectible.
  • Check every side room, even if it looks like a dead end – many contain flowers or souvenirs.
  • If you see a glowing object, it’s always a collectible (Flower, Souvenir, or a usable item).
