Slime RNG Crafting Recipe Locations Guide

Card No. 06·6466 · Updated · Standard formula, shown below

This guide covers every crafting recipe in Slime RNG, where to find the required materials, and how to craft each item. Whether you’re hunting for rare slimes or trying to build the ultimate setup, these locations and steps will help you craft efficiently and avoid wasted trips.

Ingredients

  • Slime Goo – 10 units (drops from any slime, 100% chance)
  • Slime Core – 3 units (drops from Slime King, 25% chance)
  • Golden Slime – 1 unit (rare spawn in the Slime Cave)
  • Slime Crystal – 5 units (mined from Slime Crystal Nodes in the Slime Mines)
  • Slime Essence – 2 units (obtained by defeating Slime Boss in the Slime Temple)
  • Slime Fragment – 4 units (dropped by Slime Minions in the Slime Fortress)
  • Slime Pearl – 1 unit (rare drop from Slime Queen, 10% chance)
  • Slime Vine – 3 units (harvested from Slime Plants in the Slime Swamp)
  • Slime Sap – 2 units (tapped from Slime Trees in the Slime Forest)
  • Slime Dust – 8 units (obtained by grinding any slime material at a Slime Workbench)

Instructions

  1. Unlock the Slime Workbench – Craft a Slime Workbench at a regular crafting table using 10 Slime Goo and 5 Slime Crystals. Place it in your base.
  2. Gather Slime Goo – Defeat any slime in the Slime Plains. Each slime drops 1-3 Slime Goo. You’ll need at least 10 for the workbench and more for recipes.
  3. Find Slime Crystals – Head to the Slime Mines (entrance at the north of the Slime Plains). Mine Slime Crystal Nodes with a pickaxe (any tier works). Each node yields 2-4 Slime Crystals.
  4. Defeat the Slime King – The Slime King spawns in the Slime Throne Room, located in the Slime Fortress (south of the Slime Plains). He has a 25% chance to drop a Slime Core. You may need to defeat him multiple times.
  5. Collect Slime Essence – The Slime Boss appears in the Slime Temple (east of the Slime Swamp). Defeat it to get 2 Slime Essence. The boss respawns every 10 minutes.
  6. Harvest Slime Vines and Sap – In the Slime Swamp, look for Slime Plants (green, glowing vines). Use shears to harvest 3 Slime Vines. In the Slime Forest, tap Slime Trees with a bucket to collect 2 Slime Sap.
  7. Get Slime Fragments – Slime Minions in the Slime Fortress drop 1-2 Slime Fragments each. You’ll need 4 total.
  8. Obtain a Slime Pearl (for advanced recipes) – The Slime Queen spawns in the Slime Castle (behind the Slime Fortress). She has a 10% drop chance for a Slime Pearl. This is optional for basic recipes but required for the Slime Crown.
  9. Craft your items – Open the Slime Workbench menu. Select the recipe you want (e.g., Slime Sword, Slime Shield, Slime Helmet). Ensure you have all required materials in your inventory. Click “Craft” to combine them.
  10. Check your inventory – The crafted item will appear in your inventory. If you don’t see it, check your storage or re-open the workbench.

Tips

  • Substitutions – If you’re low on Slime Crystals, you can trade 5 Slime Goo to the Slime Merchant (found in the Slime Village) for 1 Slime Crystal. This is a good emergency option.
  • Storage – Store excess Slime Goo and Slime Dust in chests near your workbench. They stack up to 99, so keep a few stacks handy.
  • Common mistake – Don’t craft Slime Dust from Slime Goo unless you really need it. Slime Dust is only used in a few recipes, and Slime Goo is more versatile. Always check the recipe first.
  • Efficiency – When farming Slime Cores, bring a friend or use a high-damage weapon. The Slime King has 500 HP and deals heavy damage. Also, the Slime Boss respawns every 10 minutes, so set a timer if you’re farming Essence.

Serving Suggestions

Once you’ve crafted your slime gear, you can use it to tackle tougher enemies. The Slime Sword (requires 5 Slime Goo, 2 Slime Cores, 1 Slime Crystal) deals 15 damage and is great for early game. The Slime Shield (requires 10 Slime Goo, 1 Slime Core) reduces incoming damage by 20%. The Slime Helmet (requires 8 Slime Goo, 2 Slime Crystals) gives +5 defense. These items are perfect for exploring the Slime Fortress or fighting the Slime Boss.

Variations

You can craft different tiers of slime gear depending on your progress. The Slime Sword can be upgraded to the Slime Greatsword (adds 2 Slime Pearls and 5 Slime Fragments) for 25 damage. The Slime Shield can be upgraded to the Slime Tower Shield (adds 3 Slime Pearls and 10 Slime Fragments) for 35% damage reduction. For a special effect, the Slime Crown (requires 10 Slime Goo, 5 Slime Cores, 1 Slime Pearl, 10 Slime Fragments) increases your slime drop rate by 10%.

Storage and Reheating

Crafted items do not spoil, but you should store them in your base chests to free up inventory space. If you need to store raw materials, keep them in labeled chests: one for Slime Goo, one for Slime Crystals, etc. This makes crafting faster. There’s no “reheating” in Slime RNG, but you can disassemble any crafted item at the Slime Workbench to get back 50% of the materials (rounded down). This is useful if you want to change your gear.

Frequently Asked Questions

Where is the Slime Workbench recipe?
The Slime Workbench recipe is automatically unlocked when you first pick up a Slime Goo. You’ll see it in your crafting menu under “Slime Gear”.

How do I get Slime Pearls?
Slime Pearls are a rare drop from the Slime Queen (10% chance). She spawns in the Slime Castle, which is behind the Slime Fortress. You’ll need to defeat her multiple times to get a pearl.

Can I craft Slime Dust from other materials?
Yes, you can grind any slime material (Slime Goo, Slime Crystal, Slime Essence) at the Slime Workbench to get Slime Dust. One unit of any material yields 2 Slime Dust.

What’s the fastest way to get Slime Cores?
The fastest way is to defeat the Slime King repeatedly. He respawns every 5 minutes. Use a fast weapon and dodge his slime projectiles to speed up the fight.

Why can’t I craft the Slime Helmet?
You might be missing the Slime Crystals. Make sure you have at least 2 Slime Crystals in your inventory, not in a chest. Also, check that you have the required Slime Goo (8 units). If you still can’t craft it, try relogging or restarting the game.

Do crafted items have durability?
Yes, all slime gear has durability. The Slime Sword has 100 uses, the Slime Shield has 150 uses, and the Slime Helmet has 200 uses. You can repair them at the Slime Workbench using Slime Goo (1 Goo per 10 durability).
