Slime RNG: How to Collect Every Slime in the Index

Card No. 06·48898 · Updated · Standard formula, shown below

The calculator on this card is switched off while it is checked. The formula is below, and the worked example shows how to do the sum by hand.

To collect every slime in the Slime RNG index, you need to obtain each of the 40+ slimes at least once by rolling them from the game’s gacha-like system, then claim them in the Index tab. This guide explains the full list, how to get rare ones, and strategies to complete your collection efficiently.

Formula

The chance of getting at least one slime of a given rarity in a certain number of rolls is calculated using the binomial probability formula:

P(at least one) = 1 – (1 – p)n

Where:

  • p = probability of rolling the desired slime (e.g., 0.01 for a 1% chance)
  • n = number of rolls

The result is expressed as a percentage. This assumes each roll is independent and the drop rates are constant.

Worked Example

Suppose you want a Legendary slime (1% drop chance) and you plan to roll 100 times. Using the formula:

  1. p = 0.01 (1% as a decimal)
  2. n = 100
  3. P = 1 – (1 – 0.01)100 = 1 – (0.99)100
  4. (0.99)100 ≈ 0.366
  5. P = 1 – 0.366 = 0.634

So you have about a 63.4% chance of getting at least one Legendary in 100 rolls. The calculator above gives the same result (63.40%).

Understanding the Slime RNG Index

Slime RNG is a Roblox game inspired by the popular RNG genre, where players roll for slimes of varying rarity. The Index is a collection log that tracks every slime you’ve obtained. To complete it, you must roll each slime at least once; duplicates don’t count beyond the first. The game features a wide range of slimes, from common ones like Green Slime to extremely rare ones like Galaxy Slime.

Complete Slime List and Rarity

While the exact list can change with updates, here are the slimes currently available, grouped by rarity (drop rates are approximate and may vary):

  • Common (50-60%): Green Slime, Blue Slime, Red Slime, Yellow Slime, Purple Slime, Cyan Slime, Orange Slime, Pink Slime
  • Uncommon (20-25%): Lime Slime, Aqua Slime, Magenta Slime, Brown Slime, Gray Slime, White Slime, Black Slime
  • Rare (8-10%): Gold Slime, Silver Slime, Crystal Slime, Lava Slime, Ice Slime, Poison Slime, Electric Slime
  • Epic (3-5%): Rainbow Slime, Dark Slime, Holy Slime, Toxic Slime, Storm Slime, Nature Slime
  • Legendary (1-2%): Galaxy Slime, Dragon Slime, Phoenix Slime, Angel Slime, Demon Slime, Cosmic Slime
  • Mythic (0.5-1%): Void Slime, Eternal Slime, Godly Slime, Universe Slime, Time Slime

Some slimes are event-limited or require special conditions (e.g., rolling during a full moon for Lunar Slime). Always check the in-game Index to see what’s currently available.

How to Roll and Increase Your Chances

Rolling is the core mechanic. You press the roll button and receive a random slime. To speed up collection:

  • Use auto-roll: Unlock it early; it rolls for you automatically.
  • Equip luck boosts: Some slimes (like Lucky Slime) give passive luck boosts when equipped.
  • Complete quests: Daily and weekly quests often reward luck potions or extra rolls.
  • Save up for pity: Some games have a pity system; check if Slime RNG does after a certain number of rolls.

Common Problems and Misconceptions

Many players think that having a slime equipped counts as collected—it does, but you must claim it in the Index. Others believe that trading counts—it doesn’t; you must roll it yourself. Also, some event slimes disappear after the event, so if you miss them, you may not be able to complete the index until they return.

Strategies for Completing the Index

To get every slime efficiently:

  1. Focus on common and uncommon first: They drop often, so you’ll complete those sections quickly.
  2. Use luck boosts during events: Events often increase rare drop rates.
  3. Join a group: Some groups share luck boosts or give tips on when to roll.
  4. Be patient: Mythic slimes can take thousands of rolls; don’t get discouraged.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: What is the rarest slime in Slime RNG?
A: As of the latest update, the rarest is Void Slime with a drop rate of about 0.5%. It’s a Mythic slime that appears in the Index as a black, swirling mass.

Q: Can I trade for slimes to complete the index?
A: No, trading does not count toward the Index. You must roll the slime yourself. Trading only gives you the slime for display or use, but it won’t register in your collection.

Q: How many slimes are in the Index?
A: The exact number changes with updates, but as of now there are 41 slimes. Always check the in-game Index for the current count.

Q: Do event slimes come back?
A: Yes, most event slimes return during annual events or special reruns. For example, the Halloween slimes return each October.

Q: Does having a luck boost slime equipped help?
A: Yes, certain slimes like Lucky Slime give a global luck boost, increasing your chances of getting rarer slimes. Equip them before rolling.

Q: Is there a pity system?
A: The game does not have a confirmed pity system. Drop rates are independent, so your chances don’t increase after many rolls.
