This article explains the “Wings for Eggs” system from the game Adopt Me! (Roblox), detailing every wing type and its stamina multiplier. You enter the wing type and your pet’s current stamina, and the calculator below tells you the effective stamina you get while flying.

Formula

The formula is simple: Effective Stamina = Current Stamina × Stamina Multiplier

Where:

  • Current Stamina – the pet’s remaining stamina as a percentage (0–100%).
  • Stamina Multiplier – a fixed value per wing type (see table below).
  • Effective Stamina – the actual flight time you get, as a percentage of the base stamina.

Worked Example

Using the default values: Wing type = Standard (multiplier = 1), Current Stamina = 100%.

Effective Stamina = 100 × 1 = 100%

So with a Standard wing and full stamina, you fly exactly as long as without a wing. If you select Golden (1.5) with 100% stamina, the result is 150% effective stamina.

All Wing Types and Their Multipliers

Here is the complete list of wings currently in Adopt Me! and their stamina multipliers:

Wing Type Stamina Multiplier
Standard Wings 1.0×
Golden Wings 1.5×
Rainbow Wings 2.0×
Phoenix Wings 2.5×
Dragon Wings 3.0×

These multipliers are fixed in the game code and do not change with pet type or level. Note that some limited-time wings (like the Shadow or Bat wings) may have different multipliers, but the five above are the standard ones available through normal gameplay.

How Stamina Works in Adopt Me!

In Adopt Me!, every pet has a stamina bar that depletes when you fly, run, or use certain tricks. When the bar reaches zero, the pet cannot fly until it rests. Wings modify how quickly that bar depletes – a higher multiplier means the bar lasts longer, effectively giving you more flight time.

For example, with a Dragon Wing (3×), a pet with 100% stamina can fly three times as long as a pet with no wing. If your pet has only 50% stamina left, a Dragon Wing still gives 150% effective stamina (50 × 3 = 150).

How to Choose the Right Wing

Choosing a wing depends on your playstyle:

  • Casual players – Standard wings are fine for short flights and are often free or cheap.
  • Explorers – Golden or Rainbow wings offer a good balance between cost and stamina.
  • Competitive flyers – Phoenix or Dragon wings maximize flight time, useful for races or long-distance travel.
  • Traders – Rare wings like Dragon may have high trade value, but the stamina bonus is the same for all pets.

Remember that wings do not affect speed – only stamina duration. If you need speed, you’ll need a fast pet (like a Griffin) or a vehicle.

Common Mistakes and Misconceptions

One common mistake is thinking that wings increase the total stamina bar. They don’t – they only multiply the effective usage. Another misconception is that all wings have the same multiplier; as shown, they vary from 1× to 3×.

Also, note that the multiplier applies to the current stamina percentage, not the absolute flight time in seconds. So if your pet has 80% stamina, a Rainbow Wing (2×) gives 160% effective stamina – but that doesn’t mean you can fly for 160 seconds; it means you can fly for 160% of the base time (which depends on the pet’s base stamina).

Limitations of the Formula

This formula assumes the stamina bar is linear and the multiplier is constant. In reality, some pets have different base stamina values (e.g., a neon pet might have slightly different stamina), but the multiplier from wings is consistent across all pets. The formula also ignores any stamina regeneration while flying (which is generally zero).

For exact flight times, you would need to know the base stamina duration in seconds for each pet, which varies. The calculator gives you the percentage, which is enough to compare wings.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do wings work on all pets?

Yes, wings can be equipped on any pet that can fly. Some pets (like turtles) cannot fly even with wings, but the stamina multiplier still applies if they run or use tricks.

Can I stack multiple wings?

No, you can only equip one wing at a time. The game does not allow stacking.

Do wings affect flight speed?

No, wings only affect stamina duration, not speed. Speed is determined by the pet’s base stats.

Are there any wings with a higher multiplier than 3×?

As of the current version, Dragon Wings have the highest multiplier at 3×. Some limited-time event wings may have different values, but none exceed 3× in the standard game.

How do I get wings?

Wings can be obtained through the in-game shop, trading, or special events. Standard wings are often given as rewards for early quests.
