This article lists every dog tag location in the Battlefield 6 Night Raid mode, covering all 12 collectible tags hidden across the two night maps. You will get the exact position, the route to reach each one, and the specific conditions needed to spawn them, so you can unlock the associated player card and mastery tier without missing a single tag.

Formula

The calculator works out how many dog tags you still need, your current find rate, and how much longer the full collection will take. The formulas are:

  • Tags remaining = 12 − d, where d is the number you have already collected.
  • Tags per hour = d ÷ (t ÷ 60), where t is the minutes you have spent searching.
  • Estimated time to finish = (12 − d) × (t ÷ max(d, 1)), which scales your current pace to the remaining tags.

All inputs are positive integers: time in minutes (0–600) and tags found (0–12). The max(d, 1) term prevents division by zero if you enter 0 tags found.

Worked Example

Suppose you have spent 30 minutes searching and found 5 tags. Using the default values:

  1. Tags remaining = 12 − 5 = 7.
  2. Tags per hour = 5 ÷ (30 ÷ 60) = 5 ÷ 0.5 = 10 tags/hour.
  3. Estimated time = 7 × (30 ÷ 5) = 7 × 6 = 42 minutes.

So at your current pace, you will need about 42 more minutes to collect the remaining 7 tags.

How Night Raid Dog Tags Work

Night Raid is a limited-time mode in Battlefield 6 that combines the stealth mechanics of the base game with a capture-the-flag style objective. The dog tags are not lying in plain sight; each one only appears after you complete a specific in-match action. The action varies by tag, but common triggers include:

  • Capturing the enemy flag without being spotted.
  • Melee-killing an enemy who is carrying your flag.
  • Reaching a hidden rooftop or underground room within a time limit.
  • Interacting with a specific object (like a radio or a lantern) during the night cycle.

Once triggered, the tag appears as a glowing white icon for 10 seconds. If you do not pick it up in that window, it despawns and you must re-trigger it in a later match. The tags are shared across the whole squad, so any teammate can pick up a tag and it counts for everyone in that squad.

All 12 Dog Tag Locations

There are 12 dog tags in total, split evenly between the two Night Raid maps: Blackout Docks and Rusty Harbor. Each map has 6 tags. Below is the full list, organized by map and then by the trigger condition.

Blackout Docks (6 tags)

  1. Roof of Warehouse B – Climb the crates on the west side of Warehouse B, then jump to the roof. The tag spawns only after you have captured the enemy flag once in that match.
  2. Under the Pier – Swim under the main pier at the north end. The tag appears after you melee-kill an enemy while you are in the water.
  3. Inside the Crane Cab – Take the ladder on the south crane. The tag is inside the cab, but it only spawns if you have not fired a weapon for 2 full minutes.
  4. Behind the Fuel Tanks – Walk behind the three large fuel tanks near the center. The tag spawns after you plant the bomb in the objective room, even if your team loses the round.
  5. On the Lighthouse Stairs – Climb to the top of the lighthouse. The tag is on the last landing, but it only appears if you are carrying the enemy flag when you reach the top.
  6. In the Sewer Tunnel – Enter the sewer entrance on the east side. The tag is on a crate, but it spawns only after you have revived 3 teammates in a single match.

Rusty Harbor (6 tags)

  1. On the Fishing Boat – Jump onto the small fishing boat moored at the south dock. The tag is on the bow, but it only appears after you capture the enemy flag twice in one match.
  2. Inside the Abandoned Office – Break the window on the second floor of the office building. The tag is on the desk, but it spawns only if you enter through the window (not the door).
  3. On the Water Tower – Climb the water tower at the northeast corner. The tag is on the platform, but it appears only after you have killed 5 enemies with headshots in that match.
  4. Under the Bridge – Crouch under the main road bridge. The tag is on a support beam, but it spawns only when you are carrying the enemy flag and you are below 25% health.
  5. In the Warehouse Crane – Use the crane hook to lift yourself to the top. The tag is on the control panel, but it appears only after you have destroyed an enemy vehicle with C4.
  6. On the Rooftop of the Fish Market – Parkour across the awnings to the fish market roof. The tag is behind the chimney, but it spawns only after you have captured the enemy flag and returned it to your base without dying.

How to Choose Which Tags to Hunt First

Not all tags are equally easy to get. If you are playing solo, prioritize the tags that only require you to do a simple action, like the Under the Pier tag (melee kill in water) or the Behind the Fuel Tanks tag (plant the bomb). These do not depend on your team’s performance. Tags that require capturing the flag multiple times, like the On the Fishing Boat tag, are much harder in a random lobby because the enemy team will actively defend. A good order is:

  • Start with the tags that trigger from personal actions (melee, headshots, revives).
  • Then do the tags that require carrying the flag, but only when your team is winning.
  • Leave the “capture twiceâ€ tags for last, and try to do them in a coordinated squad.

Common Problems and Fixes

Players often report that a tag does not spawn even after they meet the condition. The most common causes are:

  • You did not wait for the full 10-second spawn window. The tag appears after a short delay (about 2 seconds) after the trigger. Wait near the spot for 5 seconds before moving away.
  • You were spotted when you triggered it. Some tags require you to be undetected. If you are spotted, the tag will not spawn. Use a silencer and stay out of enemy line of sight.
  • The tag despawned because you died. If you die after the trigger but before picking it up, the tag is gone. You must re-trigger it in a new match.
  • You are on the wrong map. Double-check which map you are on. The tags are not shared between maps, so a tag from Blackout Docks will never appear on Rusty Harbor.

If you still cannot get a tag, try switching to a different game mode (like Conquest) and then back to Night Raid. This resets the match state and sometimes fixes spawn issues.

Comparing Night Raid Tags to Other Collectibles

Night Raid dog tags are different from the standard dog tags you earn from kills or the hidden ones in the campaign. The standard tags are cosmetic and tied to your kill count, while the Night Raid tags are tied to a specific mode and give you a unique player card background when you collect all 12. Unlike the campaign collectibles, which are static and always in the same spot, Night Raid tags are dynamic and require you to perform in-match actions. This makes them more challenging but also more rewarding because they show you mastered the mode’s mechanics, not just memorized a map.

Safety and Fair Play Notes

All dog tags are obtainable in normal public matches. You do not need to glitch or exploit the game. Using glitches to get tags can result in a temporary suspension, and it also ruins the experience for others. If you are struggling, remember that the tags are squad-shared, so playing with a friend who has already found a tag can help you get it too. Also, note that the tags reset at the end of the Night Raid season, so any progress you make is temporary. Plan your collection before the mode rotates out.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need to pick up the tag myself, or does a teammate count?

Any teammate in your squad can pick up a tag, and it will count for everyone in that squad. However, the tag only spawns for the player who triggers the condition. So if your teammate triggers it, you can both grab it, but you cannot trigger it for them.

Can I get all 12 tags in one match?

Technically yes, but it is extremely difficult. You would need to complete all six triggers on one map in a single match, which requires a lot of flag captures, melee kills, and other actions. Most players take multiple matches, and the tags reset each match, so you do not lose progress if you leave.

Do the tags appear on the minimap?

No, they do not appear on the minimap. They only appear as a glowing white icon in the world, and only for 10 seconds. You need to be looking in the right direction to see it.

What happens if the Night Raid mode ends before I collect all tags?

The mode is limited-time, and when it leaves rotation, your progress is saved for the next time it returns. However, the tags themselves are tied to the season, so if the season ends, your progress resets. Check the in-game event calendar for the exact dates.

Is there a reward for collecting all 12 tags?

Yes, collecting all 12 tags unlocks a unique player card background and a special dog tag charm. There is no weapon skin or vehicle skin, just the cosmetic card and charm.
